Graduated from and interned at The University of Kansas, Lawrence, Kansas with an Early Childhood Education Bachelors Degree; emphasis in Special Education and Administration.

Certified as a Montessori Directress at The Montessori Education Center of the Rockies, an American Montessori Society training center.

Assisted in a primary 3 to 6 year old Montessori classroom at Raintree Montessori, Lawrence, Kansas along with an earlier Elementary summer camp position.   

Taught in a primary 3 to 6 year old Montessori classroom as Directress at Raintree Montessori, Lawrence, Kansas.

Among other earlier preschool positions. 

Her classroom was also featured in the Lawrence Family Magazine (Winter 2005) and the Lawrence Journal-World Pulse (garden section) August 25, 2005.
